Songs from
San Miguel, vol. 1
Made in San Miguel County, Colorado by Forrest himself, Songs from San Miguel is a lo-fi folk record that leans intentionally into vulnerability with its stripped-down sound. The album features original compositions, traditional folk songs, and a heartfelt Blaze Foley cover—continuing Forrest’s exploration of bluegrass and Americana influences that blend traditional sounds with new works that sound timeless.
Containing thirteen tracks, this self-portrait in song moves fluidly between instrumental and vocal works, weaving through the artist’s lived experiences with guest appearances from a few special friends along the way.
